Taylah Ladeira

Clinical Psychologist (she/her)

Hi, I'm Taylah and I am a clinical psychologist who sees adolescents and adults.

Starting therapy can feel daunting for so many reasons. One concern I hear often is that people worry their struggles aren't "big enough" or "serious enough" for therapy. If you've ever felt that way, you're not alone. Some of the common issues I support clients with include difficulty falling or staying asleep, conflicting feelings about pregnancy or parenthood, distressing memories of past events, intimacy and relationship difficulties, and feeling like you're constantly prioritising everyone else's needs ahead of your own. Whatever has brought you here, your experiences deserve support.

My approach to therapy is very much focussed on meeting you where you are at in life, whilst drawing on evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Schema Therapy.

Throughout my career, I've gained experience working across primary and secondary school settings, community mental health services, and the Perth Voices Clinic.

When I'm not at work, you'll usually find me at the beach, spending time with family and friends, or (attempting) to bake desserts.
