Finding the right psychologist is an important part of feeling comfortable and getting the most from therapy. Each of our psychologists has different areas of experience, therapeutic approaches and availability, which you can explore on their individual profiles.
If you’re not sure who might be the best fit, you don’t need to figure it out on your own. Get in touch with our admin team and let us know a little about what you’re looking for. We can help guide you towards a psychologist whose experience and approach best match your needs and preferences.
-
Your first appointment is an opportunity for you and your psychologist to get to know each other. They’ll spend time understanding what has brought you to therapy, what’s currently happening in your life, and what you’d like support with.
You may be asked about your background, current concerns and any relevant history, but there’s no pressure to share anything before you feel ready. Together, you’ll discuss your goals for therapy and what the next steps might look like.
It’s also a chance for you to ask questions and get a feel for whether your psychologist is the right fit for you.
