Ruby Mosconi

Provisional Psychologist (she/her)

"Hi, I'm Ruby. I’m interested in working with young adults experiencing anxiety, low mood, and emotional dysregulation, people who feel worn down by the ongoing demands of everyday life. People who overthink decisions, second-guess themselves, and carry the sense that they’re never quite doing enough. People with a critical voice running in the background — one that makes it hard to rest, ask for help, and to feel okay about where they’re at.

I bring a genuine curiosity to every person I sit with. I want to understand what’s going on for you, not just put a label on it. What feels hard, what keeps showing up, and what gets in the way when you’re trying to move forward. From there, we work on building specific skills to respond differently in tough moments. Whether that's managing distress, challenging unhelpful thoughts as they come up, or working through the underlying things that keeps the cycle going.

Every session is tailored to what you need most. Some weeks that might mean untangling a pattern, learning a new coping strategy, or working through a specific challenge. Other weeks it might simply be about sitting with something difficult that can't be rushed or "fixed." Wherever you're at, we'll work together to make sure our sessions are supporting you in the way you need.

My clinical experience includes an internal placement through the University of Notre Dame Australia and work within in an inpatient hospital setting, with women facing mental health challenges. I also hold a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours).

In my free time, you’ll find me climbing at the bouldering gym, doing yoga, reading, or catching up with the people I love."
