Dr. Cathy Drane

Registered Psychologist (she/her)

A middle-aged woman with blonde hair wearing a white blazer and a brown patterned dress, smiling and sitting in an office or living room with a bookshelf and plants in the background.

I’m Dr Cathy Drane, a registered psychologist, dedicated to supporting my clients as they navigate life’s challenges. My approach combines warmth and compassion with evidence-based methods, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Therapy.

I work collaboratively with clients to help them better understand themselves, navigate difficult emotions, and create meaningful change. Having completed my PhD in psychology, I bring both clinical expertise and a deep understanding of human behaviour to my work, while keeping therapy practical and relatable.

I understand it takes courage to reach out for support. That’s why I strive to create a space where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship challenges, or life transitions, I’m here to listen and help you navigate a path forward.

Outside the clinic, I enjoy spending quality time with my spouse and our three adult children or catching up with friends. Maintaining important connections keeps me grounded and balanced.
