Olivia Kingsley
Provisional Psychologist (she/her)Bachelor of Arts Psychology (BA Psychology – First Class Honours)
Hi there! I’m Olivia, a provisional psychologist at Neira Psychology. I’m so glad you’ve taken this step towards exploring therapy. Wherever you are in your journey, you’re welcome here.
Life can be overwhelming, and it’s easy to get caught up in emotions and thoughts that leave us feeling stuck or unsure of how to move forward. Perhaps you’re experiencing low mood, feeling disconnected from yourself and others, or no longer enjoying the things you once did. Maybe you’re struggling with anxiety, finding it hard to quiet those persistent “what if” thoughts, or noticing yourself avoiding situations that bring up discomfort. You might be holding yourself to impossibly high standards, constantly beating yourself up when you “miss the mark,” or trying to be everything to everyone until you’re running on empty. Maybe you don’t have the words to describe what’s going on for you yet – just a sense that things aren’t feeling quite right at the moment.
Whatever you’re experiencing, I’m here to help you explore and bring awareness to the patterns keeping you stuck, so you can find a path forward. In therapy, I draw on various evidence-based modalities and techniques, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, mindfulness based approaches, and experiential imagery-based exercises. It is always my goal to make therapy a place of safety, compassion, and curiosity where you are free to show up just as you are.
As I’m a provisional psychologist (currently completing my masters and PhD in clinical psychology), I also meet regularly with my clinical supervisor (Corey Neira) to ensure my clients are getting the best quality care.
If you feel we might be a good fit or you’re simply curious to see what therapy might be like, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d love to support you on your journey toward better mental health and wellbeing.
Olivia is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia.
